what we believe

The Bible is our foundation
We believe Scripture is the inspired Word of God and the primary authority for faith and life.

One God in three persons
We believe in the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one God revealed in three persons.

Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
Jesus is fully God and fully human, who lived, died, and rose again to save us from sin.

Salvation is by grace through faith
We are saved by God’s grace—not our works—and receive new life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Grace is for everyone
God’s grace is at work in every person (prevenient grace), drawing all people toward Him and giving everyone the opportunity to respond. 

We are called to holiness
Following Jesus means growing in love for God and others, and being transformed into His likeness.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers
The Spirit works in us to convict, guide, sanctify, and equip us for a life of obedience and mission.

The Church is the body of Christ
The Church exists to worship God, build up believers, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Every Christian is called to ministry
All believers are invited to participate in God’s mission through their gifts, service, and witness. 

We practice two sacraments
Baptism and Holy Communion are sacred means of grace given by Christ to the Church.

Faith is lived out in the world
We believe our faith should impact how we live—pursuing justice, compassion, and holiness in everyday life. 

We are connectional and accountable
We are part of a larger Methodist movement, united in doctrine, mission, and mutual accountability.
